We had the privilege of attending Morocco Kingdom of Light - London Fashion Week 2025 at 180 Studio in The Strand. Anjna Kaur, Aradhana Mahtani, and I stepped into an immersive Moroccan experience that transported us straight to Marrakesh from the moment we arrived. As the Official Destination Partner for London Fashion Week 2025, Morocco brought an unparalleled sense of culture and vibrancy to the event, blending haute couture with a celebration of Moroccan heritage.

Upon entering the venue, we were greeted with an exquisite selection of Moroccan treats and teas, indulging in the rich flavours before making our way to the dedicated fashion show space. The energy was electric; high-energy Moroccan drummers performed with passion, their rhythms filling the room, while breath-taking visuals of Morocco were projected onto the walls, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable evening.

Morocco Kingdom of Light proudly presented two of the country’s most celebrated international designers; Sara Chraïbi and Maison Artc. This showcase offered a window into the beauty, craftsmanship, and storytelling that define Moroccan fashion. The guest list was equally impressive, featuring notable figures such as model Adot Gak, popular socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, renowned designer Jasper Conran OBE, esteemed editor, Hamish Bowles, athlete Annie Tagoe, and the British Ambassador of Morocco, H.E. Hakim Hajoui.

Sara Chraïbi

Sara CHRAIBI

unveiled her Haute Couture collection titled THE HEAVENS, a stunning display of intricate embroidery, architectural precision, and refined elegance. With a background in architecture, Sara seamlessly fused structural elements with the fluidity of fabric, creating silhouettes that celebrated both tradition and modernity. Her designs carried a kaleidoscopic narrative, influenced by her North African and Mediterranean roots, and embodied her commitment to blending innovation with cultural heritage. THE HEAVENS was an ode to femininity, movement, and artistic expression; each piece a delicate yet powerful tribute to the art of haute couture.

Maison Artc

Artsi Ifrach

presented a deeply personal and culturally rich collection titled COMING HOME. Artsi Ifrach, the creative mind behind Maison Artc, crafted a collection that told the story of Moroccans in the diaspora, capturing the essence of nostalgia, identity, and belonging. Each garment was a heartfelt tribute to Moroccan heritage, interwoven with influences from the diverse cultures Moroccans embrace in their new homes. Every piece in COMING HOME was crafted in Marrakesh using vintage, antique garments, and fabrics, each meticulously repurposed to give them a new lease on life. Vibrant silks, layers of delicate tulle, and beautifully printed cotton came together to form one-of-a-kind, bespoke pieces that honoured tradition while embracing contemporary artistic expression. Maison Artc’s collection was more than just fashion, it was a love letter to Morocco, an exploration of memory, and a celebration of culture through wearable art.

The evening was truly a masterclass in destination marketing. Every detail, from the atmosphere to the designs, reinforced Morocco’s deep connection to creativity, craftsmanship, and storytelling. As we left the event, the magic of Marrakesh lingered in our minds, inspiring dreams of our next journey to this vibrant land.

To commemorate the experience, we were gifted a stunning glass candle inscribed with the words ‘Kingdom of Light’ - a keepsake that beautifully encapsulated the essence of the evening.

Morocco Kingdom of Light at London Fashion Week 2025 was more than just a fashion showcase; it was a journey through history, culture, and innovation, reminding us that fashion is one of the most powerful ways to tell a story.
