Dearest Readers,
It seems my latest musings have left many of you rather… unsettled; how utterly delightful! There is nothing more amusing than watching those who speak so boldly online suddenly squirm when their own words are mirrored back to them. Do they not secretly wish to be seen? To be heard? And yet, the moment the court of public opinion takes notice, they recoil. A little too revealing, perhaps?
Now, let us turn our gaze to the ever-intriguing duo, Blok and Dino. Their latest jab at the Veddas has, predictably, sent ripples through more than just a few delicate feathers. A most cunning maneuver, I must say, to discuss the matter in the tongue of those who once held dominion over this land, far from the reach of the Veddas’ comprehension. But let us not be fooled, for a single Sinhala word, Aderei, dropped ever so casually at the end of their statement was enough to set hearts ablaze. A stroke of brilliance or a calculated risk? Only time shall tell.
Now, to the wildest affair of the week, a Sri Lankan YouTuber reaching the most enviable milestone of 10 million. A grand feat, no doubt! And yet, one cannot help but wonder, must all his videos stretch to the length of an entire workday? A wink to those who know.
As for our darling Elina, a photograph with the celestial Adriana Lima? One must wholeheartedly agree with the ever perceptive @meow3333, if such a treasure graced my camera roll, I’d list it under qualifications on my CV without hesitation too.
And lastly, across distant shores, we revisit the words of the formidable Wendy Williams, who once pondered what a certain songstress might do with her inked hands at sixty. Oh, Wendy, did you not catch her latest music video? How ironic, then, that before your question could ever be answered, fate delivered its own verdict upon you. Ah, karma, ever the most unforgiving of critics.
Until we meet again, may you continue to stir the pot. After all, where would society be without a whisper of mischief?
Yours most mischievously,
The Writer
